Featured Shelter Gerbil: Gillyweed
This is Gillyweed, this week’s featured shelter gerbil. Gillyweed and several other rodents were going to be put to sleep, but then they were rescued by the Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue in Westland, Michigan.Gillyweed is a very handsome red fox who doesn’t ever bite, according to the Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue. He is very active and friendly. The rescue recommends that he go to a home without small children, but teens and adults would both make good owners for Gilly.
You can learn more about Gilly, see more photos of him, and even watch a video of Gilly on on his Petfinder page. To fill out an application to adopt Gilly, please visit the Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue Web site.
If you adopt Gillyweed, please email me and let me know. I love to hear of happy endings when a shelter gerbil finds a new home. :)
