Featured Shelter Gerbils: Bora & Mongo

Bora and Mongo are two female gerbils at a pet rescue in Durham, North Carolina who are looking for a home.

Mongo is a lilac gerbil, and Bora (pictured to the right) is, according to the Carolina Pet Rescue, a spotted dove, although in this photo, she looks more like a spotted lilac. Either way, she’s a very lovely gerbil, and so is Mongo.

The adoption fee for Bora and Mongo is $20 for both gerbils (adopted together as a pair). If you would like to take these beautiful girls home, you can fill out an adoption application with the Carolina Pet Rescue.

We hope to hear soon that Bora and Mongo have a new, loving home!

A New Gerbil Tip

We’ve posted a new gerbil tip. Jaycue sent us this tip about a free gerbil toy.

The timing was perfect, because just a month earlier, Donna gave Herman and Sebastian the same toy at the New England Gerbil Show.
