How One Mother Came To Love Rodents

I found this column from The Times Plus in Monroe, Wisconsin. It's actually about a rat rather than a gerbil, but I thought it was still a story worth passing along. The author writes about how she didn't like rats and wasn't happy when her sons brought a rat home from school for the summer. Something surprising happened, though. She fell in love with this rat (named Priscilla) and discovered the charm that rodents can have.
