Hazelnut, available for adoption at Morris Animal Refuge
Today’s Featured Rescue Gerbil is Hazelnut, a handsome Burmese gerbil who is at Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hazelnut’s owners had to move and couldn’t take him with them.

From the description on Petfinder, it sounds like it. There’s not much information there, so it’s hard to say for sure. He really is adorable, though!

I was going to name my gerbil hazelnut. I named them Chest Nut , Walnut. She looks just like Walnut. There like twins!!!!!!!!
